"Execution Day" is an interactive article for The GUIDON's Beyond Loyola section. It recounts the final day of a prisoner on death row.
Central to the interactive piece is the digital clock, which follows the user as she reads the full article. As the death row prisoner's final day is planned to the minute, the clock allows the reader to truly understand the jarringly mechanical nature of capital punishment and its effect on those condemned to this fate.
